Description

A desert-adapted harvester ant capable of a serious, medically-notable sting. Long-lived queens and slow, steady colony growth make it a patient keeper's project. This listing is for a captive-bred queen of Pogonomyrmex barbatus, raised in a controlled environment with full husbandry records available on request.
