Description

Recognisable by its distinctive heart-shaped abdomen, which workers raise acrobatically over the thorax when alarmed. Nests in dead wood in warm Mediterranean climates. This listing is for a captive-bred queen of Crematogaster scutellaris, raised in a controlled environment with full husbandry records available on request.
